Privacy Policy
Effective date: 31 July 2026
The Short Version
Play without giving us your name, email address, or other contact details. Settings and local high scores stay on your device. If you allow optional analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand how the game is used and improve it. Google advertising is not currently enabled.
Online play processes only the nickname, team setup, matchmaking choice, match information, connection data, and security/debugging information needed to find, run, and protect a match. Public matching can pair you with another guest or a clearly labelled computer team. We do not sell personal information.
Who We Are
Park Football is published by:

Information That Stays On Your Device
The browser game can save preferences, your analytics choice, a short local high-score name and match history, and your online guest nickname using browser storage. Park Football does not transmit local high-score names or settings. Your saved guest nickname and opponent preference are sent only when you request an online match. You can remove these values by changing the nickname or clearing site data in your browser.
Optional Analytics
After you choose Accept analytics, Park Football loads Google Analytics 4. We send a small allowlisted set of game events such as page visits, match starts and finishes, selected pitch and team size, broad control type, goals, goal kicks, water retrievals, distractions, pauses, rematches, and fixed error codes.
We do not deliberately send Google names, initials, score-entry text, free text, precise location, raw key presses, movement traces, online messages, or a Park Football user ID. Google may automatically receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, page address, cookie identifiers, session information, and an approximate location derived from network information. Google processes this information under its own terms and privacy information.
We use analytics to maintain the game, understand aggregate use, diagnose problems, and improve controls, pitches, computer teams, and match completion. Analytics is optional and the game works if you refuse.
Google Advertising
Park Football does not currently load Google advertising. Before adverts are enabled, we will update this policy and the Cookie Policy with the actual provider, information, purposes, storage, duration, child-audience configuration, and choices. Accepting game analytics does not consent to advertising storage or personalized advertising.
We do not sell personal information. We do not permit Park Football gameplay analytics to be used to create a named child profile.
Online Gameplay And Debugging
Private invite play and public matchmaking are available. The online service processes:
- the nickname and team presentation you choose to share;
- normalized control inputs, match state, scores, results, and whether opponents are people or bots;
- connection details such as IP address, timestamps, session or match identifiers, latency, disconnections, and protocol version;
- security, moderation, abuse-prevention, and debugging records; and
- support or report information that you or a responsible adult choose to submit.
This information is used only to find and provide matches, reconnect players, prevent cheating and abuse, investigate faults, secure the service, respond to reports, and meet legal obligations. In a public match, your nickname and team presentation are shown to the one matched opponent. Bots use synthetic team names and carry a visible BOT label. The authoritative game server and operational logs remain separate from Google product analytics. There are no accounts, chat, spectators, player search, persistent public profiles, or mid-match joining.
Legal Reasons For Use
Optional analytics and non-essential cookies rely on consent. Matchmaking and gameplay information is used where necessary to provide the requested online service. Security, fraud prevention, service debugging, and legal compliance rely on legitimate interests or legal obligations where appropriate. Advertising remains disabled pending its separate child-audience, consent, provider, and legal review.
Who Receives Information
Information may be handled by Google for optional analytics, by hosting and infrastructure providers such as AWS, and by suppliers needed to operate, secure, debug, or support online play. We may also disclose information where required by law or needed to protect players and the service. We do not otherwise share it for unrelated purposes.
The authoritative game server is hosted by AWS in its London region. Google and other infrastructure suppliers may process information outside the UK under their applicable contracts and transfer safeguards.
How Long Information Is Kept
- Local settings, match history, and saved guest nickname stay on your device until you change them or clear site data.
- The analytics choice stays on your device until you change it, clear site data, or the policy version changes.
- Park Football configures GA4 browser cookies to expire after 60 days without extending that lifetime on return visits. Browser restrictions may shorten this period.
- Google Analytics event-level retention must be configured to two months in the GA4 property before production collection begins.
- Live match state is held in server memory while needed to run or recover a match. Pending rooms and short result records expire automatically. Bounded security and debugging records are retained only while needed to operate, protect, and investigate the service.
Your Choices And Rights
You can reject or withdraw optional analytics below. You can clear local storage and cookies through your browser. Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection rights can include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, and a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Children have these rights too, and a parent or responsible representative may help exercise them where appropriate.
Contact ricky@mail.mail-summary.com to make a request. We may need to confirm identity or parental authority before acting on a request, and will only ask for information reasonably needed to do that.
Analytics Choice
Changes
We will update this notice when analytics, advertising, online play, suppliers, or legal requirements change. Material changes may require a new choice. The published policy will show its effective date and keep previous versions where required.
